Scrobie Sidekick Auditions - Bushwacker

WARNING: This cartoon is intended for mature audiences only.  Well, actually, it is intended for immature audiences only.  The point is, you probably don't want to watch this one with your kids ... unless you are one of those parents who believes that your children should be exposed to everything the world has to offer to prepare them for life.  In that case, go ahead and watch with the entire family.  Just consider yourself forewarned.

After attacking his last candidate, a maniacal one-eyed pyramid bent on world domination, Scrobie promises to be nicer to the next interviewee.  Luckily, this candidate is easy to love.  Alas, even the charms of shrubbery fail to win Scrobie over.

Scrobie's sidekick auditions take a bizarre turn as Lou Minati attempts to recruit Scrobie into a secret organization that seeks world domination.

As Deez and Big Country continue their self-imposed hiatus (don't worry, they'll be back), we continue with the epic tale of Scrobie.  In our last episode, Scrobie's quest to find the sidekick he needs to vault himself into the upper echelon of cartoon characters got off to a rough start with Durex Jones.

Scrobie is more intrigued by his second contestant, a frosted donut appropriately named Donutella.

We continue our detour from the exciting adventures of Deez and Big Country to continue our examination of America's next great cartoon character - Scrobie!

With looks, fame, and the kind of fortune that can only be accumulated through merchandising and endorsement deals, Scrobie has it all.   The only thing holding him back from being considered America's top cartoon hero is his his lack of a sidekick ... and the fact that his adventures are not particularly heroic.  Putting your life in harm's way is dangerous, but holding sidekick auditions is not.  So, in this episode, Scrobie holds his first sidekick audition.  Will it be his last?

Introducing Scrobie!

At this time, we take a detour from the usual adventures of Deez and Big Country to showcase America's next great cartoon character - Scrobie!  Scrobie has been called "what you'd get if Spongebob Squarepants mated with a Pokemon and that offspring was dropped off on the front porch of the Telletubbies who subsequently gave that abandoned baby to the Smurfs to raise."

I'm not exactly sure what all of that means, but in his debut episode, Scrobie goes on vacation.

Editor's note: Many cartoon historians have noticed similarities between Scrobie and Strokemon.  Any similarities between the two popular cartoon character are purely coincidental other than the fact that they are cousins.

Editor's note 2: Big Bone Lick State Park is 100% real.
